The fifth graders at Animas Valley Elementary have been working hard the past few months to question, research, and take ACTION on issues and events around the world. The students have been looking at different ways of HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES looking closely at different perspectives to how "We communicate our shared human experiences through ..." Students are excited to share their work and ACTIONS during the 5th grade exhibition being held at Animas Valley throughout the day on Thursday, May 28th. Please come out and support our students and all their efforts.
Today the fifth grade team sat down with the I.B. coordinator (me!) and Principal Schuba to begin outlining this year's fifth grade exhibition. We will be holding an informational parent night on April 9th from 4:00-4:30p.m. following the Celebration of Learning starting at 3:00p.m. This will be a time to find out some important information about what exhibition is and the expectations of your fifth grade child. Please bring questions about the process to the event as we will address questions following the presentation. If you are interested in being a MENTOR for an exhibition team, please contact Ms. Hoar at [email protected]. |
